Pink cupcake deodorant stick

Pink_cupcake_deodorantIf you've ever felt guilty about not pampering your armpits, then Spa Therapy Works has something that should let you sleep soundly at night.

The company's 2-ounce stick of Pink Cupcake deodorant ($6) is free of paraben, alcohol, and aluminum but full of the scent of "whipped sugary pink buttercream frosting on top of a fresh-from-the-oven vanilla cupcake." No more tossing and turning in bed; you'll be spoiling your pits rotten with a vegan product that "combats and kills odor-causing bacteria" without stifling their naturally sweaty personalities.

Mini cupcake bath bombs

Mini_cupcake_bath_bombs_hlcOne way to make out-of-town guests feel extra special is to put together a little gift basket for the bathroom. Even though most people travel with their own set of toiletries, a cute basket full of soaps and other bath products is still something they'll likely appreciate and remember fondly. As long as you include a word of caution with these mini cupcake bath bombs ($13), that is.

Explain to your guests that while it may seem fun to munch on freshly scented 1.5-ounce cupcakes while soaking in a bath, eating a water-softening, moisture-rich bath fizzy is not recommended.

No one will remember your thoughtful bath basket after a good stomach pumping.

Cupcake cocoa butter and mud mask

Cupcake_lushThis seems dangerous. Cupcake by Lush is a chocolate-scented cleansing mask made with cocoa powder that looks like a cup of pudding and is meant to be kept in the refrigerator.

If I opened the fridge on a midnight raid and found a nicely chilled container of cupcake pudding, I'd grab a spoon and start shoveling! I'm sure it would only take a few seconds for my taste buds to realize that the pudding was actually a blend of Rhassoul mud, peppermint and spearmint oils, and cocoa butter. Lovely for the skin perhaps, but not so great for the stomach.

Each pot is $18 and good for about four mouthfuls . . . I mean, skin treatments.

Hostess cupcake soap and candle mold

Hostess_cupcake_silicone_moldIf you've just found out the truth about the Easter Bunny today, you may want to bookmark this page and come back tomorrow when your faith in humanity has been restored.

Because if you're still feeling a bit shaken, then you won't like this two-piece Hostess cupcake silicone mold. You know that child-like awe you felt when seeing a 2.2-ounce piece of glycerin soap, soy candle, or fragrance melt that looked exactly like this Hostess cupcake (complete with cream filling and frosting squiggles)? All the work of a $17.50 silicone mold.

Don't ask anyone about Santa or the Tooth Fairy. At least not today.

Pink cupcake body lotion

Pink_cupcake_lotionI've been using my Aquolina Pink Sugar body lotion pretty sparingly lately because I haven't decided whether to buy another $25 tube or switch to something else. I've used the lotion quite happily over the past few years but am starting to grow weary of the vanilla-caramel scent.

Maybe my olfactory senses would appreciate SpaTherapy's Pink Cupcake Silky Body Lotion ($9.50), a moisturizing blend of shea butter and goat's milk infused with the heavenly aroma of a warm vanilla cupcake topped with sweet buttercream. The lotion even promises to lock in moisture without leaving behind a sticky or greasy residue, which is more than I can say about real frosting.

Birthday cupcake bath fizzy

Fizzy_baker_bath_cupcakeTo avoid being accused of secretly hoping that your friend gains a few pounds by giving her a real cupcake slathered in buttercream frosting, give her this completely inedible birthday cupcake bath fizzy ($7.50) from The Fizzy Baker instead.

The 4.75-ounce bath companion carries the "light sweet scent of a fresh-baked cupcake" without any of the calories (or the subconscious motives)! I suppose you risk the possibility of your pal questioning her choice of deodorant, but when the cupcake melts away in the tub and the soap-frosting "floats free to use for a good scrub," she'll forget all about it.

Frilly handmade cupcake soap

Cupcake_soap_bgentleB.Gentle is an Australian company that specializes in handmade soaps and beauty products. Part of their Carolyn's Cakes collection is a line of 4.9-ounce cupcake soaps made with coconut oil and shea butter.

They supply their cupcakes to various retailers throughout Australia, including online shop A Pressie For U, which sells this frilly frosted cupcake soap (also available in pink) for $11.95 apiece.

It's not something I'd like to eat (real frosting usually ends up scraped off and smeared on the edges of my dessert plate), but I'd gladly wash my hands with it.

Cupcake Sugar Body Polish bath scrub

Cupcake_sugar_body_polishDo beauty products named after cupcakes ever smell like them?

This Cupcake Sugar Body Polish by WildWoozle Soap Company, for example, bears the fragrance of "sugar-frosted creme brulee sweetness" thanks to its pure sugar and hypoallergenic oil blend. What do burnt cream and a glass-like layer of torched sugar have in common with what appears to be a vanilla cupcake frosted with vanilla icing? Gee, I wonder which essential oil should've been mixed into the body scrub.

Oh well. If you don't mind smelling like custard and burnt sugar, you can pick up 5.5- and 16-ounce tubs of scrub for $14.75 and $35, respectively.
